Program Overview

The EPTSAL Youth Empowerment Program is designed to support students in grades K–12 by providing year-round opportunities for academic growth, creative exploration, and real-world skill development. We believe that every young person deserves access to safe, inspiring spaces where they can learn, thrive, and become leaders in their communities.

Through afterschool programs, summer camps, and specialized workshops, we guide youth toward academic excellence, social responsibility, and self-discovery. Our approach bridges education with life skills—empowering young people not just to dream about their future, but to actively build it.

Core Program Components

• Afterschool Enrichment & Tutoring
  Safe, structured, and supportive spaces where students receive homework help, academic tutoring, and mentorship to close learning gaps and increase school success.
  

• Summer Camps for K–12 Students
  A blend of fun and learning through arts, athletics, and innovation, offering youth a constructive and engaging alternative during summer months.

• Life-Saving Skills Training
  Hands-on First Aid, CPR, and AED certification to instill confidence, responsibility, and the ability to protect their communities.
  

• Skill Development Tracks
  

• Electronics Repair & Production – Introduction to technology, circuitry, and hands-on innovation.

• Entrepreneurs on the Rise – Teaching business basics, financial literacy, and leadership to future entrepreneurs.

• Performing Arts & Creative Expression – Theater, music, and dance opportunities to build confidence and cultural appreciation.

• Authors in Development – Writing, literacy, and storytelling workshops to promote self-expression and communication skills.
  

Community Need

Many students in underserved communities lack access to safe environments, structured afterschool care, and advanced skill-building opportunities. Without access to these resources, youth are at greater risk of falling behind academically, engaging in risky behaviors, and missing critical opportunities for positive growth.

EPTSAL addresses these gaps by offering safe spaces, mentorship, and innovative programs that prepare students for academic success, workforce readiness, and lifelong resilience.
